Cold Partition Length?!

in THE MAIN WALL
In Slant/Fin's Heat Loss Express there's a field called "Cold Partition Length." What is this field "looking" for?

    A cold partition is when you have a room next to your heated room that is not heated. If you dont have anything like this, leave it at zero.
