I got a call that my customer's relief valve was popping. I show up and find the expansion tank water logged. I changed the pop safety valve and expansion tank. Well I just got a call back from the customer and the pop safety is blowing again! The boiler is a slant fin hot water boiler 109,000 btu with 6 zones including a domestic hot water, 30 lb. pop saftey, #30 extrol tank, and the system also has anti-freeze in it. Need help! Any Answers?

What pressure is the water feed feeding the boiler to? With 6 zones a # 30 might be too small. You might have to use a #60 Does this boiler have a domestic hot water coil? If so it might be slowly leaking domestic water pressure into the boiler0 -
Relief Valve
I agree with F.F. the Tank may be too small or the domestic coil could be leaking. Or- the auto or hand feed valve may be bypassing. If the tank wasn't new I would also suggest the tank diaphragm could be ruptured.0 -
Piping
Isolate domestic water to eliminate that as a problem.
Also look at system piping, make sure feed vlave isn't being pulled open when the circulator is running.0 -
relief valve popping
The autmatic feed is shut-off due to the anti-freeze in system. the domestic hot water is a boiler mate.0
