Baseboard elements

Hi, just redid my basement, fully insulated, both against the exterior walls, and interior walls as well. I need to install baseboard for my fourth zone, and am wondering if I can put it on the interior wall (would be much easier) or does it have to go on an exterior wall. Again, it is very well insulated all the way around, including the ceiling. Thanks for advance!!

    basement heat

Outside wall always best, but inside will work if properly sized.

since it is a basement somewhat below grade it will be much easier to heat .i would use cast iron baseboard on a separate zone

Yeah, I used the slant/fin heat loss calc, and it shows 2.5 feet for each room (the rooms are separated by a stairway that is closed, and its pretty warm anyways, but when it was wide open, it did tend to get a little cool down here, so I was going to mount 3 feet of baseboard, slant/fin 30. It seems to me that 3 feet is awfully small, but thats what it calls for, and I did the calcs twice. And theres no windows either, so thats what I think Ill do, I didnt know if it was an absolute that it had to be mounted on an outside wall.

    3' ???

How big is the room. Slightly bigger than a refrigerator box??? Sounds kinda small but if you did the heat loss you would know your own home better than I.
