has anyone run into problems with trianco phase three indirect thermostats? customer complains that when the water doesn't get used for period of time the hot water faucets will spit air out with water after about 30 seconds of run time. any input would be appreciated ,thanks

Haven't had that particular problem yet. We use the Weil tanks (same thing) and have a couple tanks lose the aquastat, but no spitting air. Sounds like stacking temp in the tank, or a lot of air in the water. Do you have a mixing valve on the tank??

Domestic expansion tank
Do you have a check valve or backflow device any where in the cold water supply from the street. If you do you should have a domestic water expansion tank on the inlet to the Phase III tank to allow for expansion of the domestic hot water0
