    pipe water volume?

I'm looking for a good web site for water volume. What pipes carry, both copper and steel, from 1/2" to 3". Thanks in advance.

    Gpm for pipe

    Ernie:

Pete is right for the volume of pipe. However, if you are talking about gpm then oyu need to take into consideration velocity, other wise you could end up with noise problems. B&G (Bell and Gossett) makes a system sizer for those who design and those who balance systems. It is called a System syzer calculator and it goes up to 3" copper tubing and up to 12" iron pipe I hope this helps.
