Wood Boiler Circulator

Member Posts: 13
I have a customer with a outdoor non pressurized wood boiler (open system). 320' of 1" Wirsbo tubing, to and from the house. What circulator works best under these conditions.
Thanks,
John L.

I think it would
depend on how high the unit is above the basement or how high the water has to rise to get to a heat exchanger, etc. Central Boiler uses all taco pumps for continuous running and I have 2 pumps in particular, an 007 and and 009. If you are just going to a heat exchanger on a forced air furnace and the water heater I'd think the 007 would be fine. But an expert here might know better. Also, the company should have some literature on what you need...I know central boiler has some very nice drawings and information on their website and owners manual.0
