Prayers and Thoughts for a Friend

Member Posts: 5,883
Jerrys wife Ruth contacted me to let me know that they will not be able to join us at Woodmans Friday night. Jerry is in the hospital from a heart attack.
I know the Wall is great for sending out prayeres and good thoughts and how much that can help.
Please keep Jerrys quick recovery in your hearts.

we will sure miss being with you at ISH. We pray for a quick recovery and send our love.0 -
Get well soon
A prayer has been said for Jerry. And as always we keep all our friends in our prayers. Especially for those that need our prayers, but have no one to ask for them.

I also
met jerry and Ruth at Baltimore and enjoyed the time I spent with them on the Burnham Plant Tours. Good luck and a speedy recovery Jerry from all of your friends here at Burnham. Be sure to follow the doctors orders and get some rest.

I will
place them both at the top of my list.
Met them at the first Wetstock, and I was charmed out of my socks.
God's strength to both of them.

Jerry
Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. They are what brought him through when he was so sick nearly 7 years ago and I am sure they will do the same this time. He is feeling much better and can breath easily again. He will be having a cardiac cath and hopefuly a balloon angioplasty today around 2. Will keep you all posted. He did say to tell everyone to at least share his LOBSTA!
Thanks again.

Thanks for letting us know.
We love you both, Ruthe.Retired and loving it.0 -
Add my best wishes and prayers to the list...
Get well soon! No more cheeseburgers!0 -
Jerry
Just got home from the hospital. Jerry came through today's procedure very well, however he has to have it done again next week so is in ICU until they do it. They opened up one artery very successfilly but didn't want to risk doing the 2nd today so will open up the other one which is 95% clogged next week when he is a little stronger. This is much safer that open heart since he would almost certainly not make it though that operation. He is in good spirits and still worried about his LOBSTAH! So treat it nicely with lots of butter. Thanks for all your thought and prayers. I am sure that they all helped very much. Have printed them all off and taken them down to him to read.

Wonderful to hear that...
... I'm so glad that he's better already. I'm sure he's happier being taken care of by you at home than lying in a hospital. All the best to you two in his long road to recovery.0
