mono flo hot water returns

I have a single pipe hot water heating system. I noticed where every pipe coming out of the radiator joins the main, the T fitting has a metal label on it that reads "RETURN MONO FLO". Does anyone know what this means? I am imagining there is some kind of flapper insid that wont let the water go bacwards twoards the boiler, is this what it is?

It's a monoflow tee that has a venturi setup in it that creates a negative pressure zone that cause water to leave the main and flow thru the radiator and then back into the main. Kind of like a carburator venturi that mixes air and fuel. Water flowing in the main and thru the mono tee is "jetted" thru the venturi cone. the resulting negative pressure, or point of lower pressure around the cone, encourages flow thru the radiator....that's it. plain and simple.
