    Woah!

Hold down there....i know sh about that boiler however you need to have the burner sized to the boiler and nozzel sized to the burner whatever you are doing isnt like ok lets see i have a .70 X 60 H and i want lots of hot water maybe i will try a 8.35 X.35 ...that really aint the way to go about that.

Did you install the system or was it done professionally? Generally unit's come with the burner's close to spec's for each unit, If anything I generally down fire them a bit. Have someone come in with the proper equipment and set it up properly. For a few buck's now it could save you a ton of headaches in the future..:) IMHO

    HOLD THE BOAT!!!

You cannot just pick a nozzle out of the box and say "this looks like what I need". EVERY burner/combustion chamber will have a VERY specific nozzle angle/pattern and size for the unit in question, some units will allow a certain amount of leeway in the sizing of the nozzle as to the btu's allowed, some will not. You MUST check the spec sheet on the unit to see what type of nozzle you need as to pattern and angle and then see what is allowed as to size of the nozzle. If you do not have any experience along this line GET A PRO TO DO IT, if you do not it is not a matter of if you will have a problem it is a matter of when and that when could take less than a few minutes to materialize. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING FOR AN AMATEUR TO DO!! Why jepordize the whole system over a part that costs less than $10??? Get someone in there that knows what they are doing. Period!!!!

    Hey Dave

I think what he is asking is....... the boiler comes with three tags for three different firing rates, which one does he need to use? Confusing for anyone.

I would match the load of the indirect water heater and go with at least the 1 gallon size. Be careful the pump pressure may be set at 145 psi so you have to factor that into the firing rate

I boiler came with 3 diffrent nozzles, .65 .85 (which is init from the factory) and a 1.00, I know how to adjust the air and all of that stuff, I was just wondering how to properly select a nozzle.

    Might I add

Get a combustion analysis done after if you do not know how.

You CANNOT set up a burner visually. In fact it can be downright lethal.
