Here's a g215 4 section we just finished her off thusday. On this job we ran into all kinds of promblems from getting the equiptment to get the relays ,speedheader and just about everything just about everything fought us for this job not to get done but we got a handle on it and cranked it out .I don,t think the ho will even look at it any way.We removed a beat up utica 6 section a little over sized and shot old 1725 burner type and was switched to a high speed beckett years ago high stack and a couple of water leaks on the inside had totally block 2 or 3 section she was quite under fired but that was all she could handle she was aroung 30 years old. peace clammy

    Nice Install!

It's laid out nicely. I guess my only improvement suggestion is to find a better place for the leftover instruction booklets. It's interesting to see how the two Buderus appliances appear to be raised higher than the rest of the basement. Should make burner maintenance a little easier...

    Expansion tank

I used to sell Extrol expansion tanks. I was told you were not supposed to install them upside down as it appears that you have. Is the info i have correct? Just a question not a slam.

    Yeah Clammy

That's the same color blue we use on our boards. Coincidence, or did you like the color of my boards in the pictures I've posted?? Hmmm? BTW nice looking work. WW :)

Job looks great. Im not sure if this is a code but Whn I see the relief drainoff piped in black iron it corrodes and could restrict a blowoff.

    to code

It,s unknown to me if using black pipe off a saftey is illegal or not but in my expeirence i've never had a inspector say boo and if a safety valve is leaking enough to corrode and plug the pipe the safety was probaly way over to be replaced any way .The question on the extrol the unit there is a sx30 stand alone tank i believe it's the only way to pipe them and as for the domestics expansion tank it's something i'll have to check out i'm usally able to hang them but on this job not muchwas hung properly in the first place .I want to thank everyone for all the kind words still have a few small things to finish up yet .Today we went back and hauled all the trash out sweept and claned the basement re marked all the zones .I shoud be posting a steamer next week 5 years old cracked from no blow down on the saftey and clogged and leaking returns and loads of make up water the inside of it looks like it's about 50 and she was only 5 years old no maintance peace clammy
