It's a good, comprehensive guide, but...
... their data only shows oil vs. gas prices from 1992-1999. Don't get me wrong, I'm installing oil heat in my new house, but the current oil prices are about equivalent in the NE to gas, even if they traditionally were about 40% lower.0 -
Interesting
"Every year, only 5% of consumers need a new heating system."
That assumes an average 20-year lifespan for the heating equipment. It would be nice if they gave their reasons for new equipment. Is it because of poor efficiency? unsafe operation? oversizing due to insulation? undersizing due to addition? other?0
