Outdoor reset wiring...

conjunction with existing Aquastat.
I am in the process of adding a AQ475A outdoor reset on my system and was wondering if I could get a critique of the wiring schematic I came up with.
I want to keep the exisiting 8148A aquastat as it works well and is almost new, plus it gives me my high limit.
Please let me know if this wiring will work as I want to get it done before cold weather sets in.
Thanks
Rob

This looks right to me
I am a homeowner but this is basicaly how mine is setup. I hope you are not dissapointed with the reset curve of the AQ475. It doesn't have an offset adjustment for the reset curve, you can only pivot the curve from the 70 degree WWSD point, whereas the Tekmar 260 does have this offset feature and more in the way of characteized heating curves. The only thing I like about the AQ475 are the dummy lights. Apologies to Honeywell. If you hook up an indirect water heater the Tekamr 260 has better control options for this as well. Tekmar 260 is well worth the few extra dollars.0 -
Thanks,
for the input. I already have the Honeywell so that's the one I'll go with. Looked at the Tekmars but my nephew was able to get me a killer deal on the Honeywell so that's what I went with. Got to get on it though, have had the control since June '04....

Anyone else with
any comments?0 -
I put an AQ475 on the boiler in my shop, and that's exactly how I wired it. It works fine. The outdoor reset was totally overkill in my personal shop, but hey, I'm an overkill kinda guy.0 -
Thanks,
for the input. Going to wire it in this coming weekend and see how well it works.
