Who made this???

I stumbled across a "Circle Cumbustion" boiler today. I need a gasket for it. The only info is the name. It is a canary yellow, it is a scotch marine design, and it has a companion canary yellow indirect. The Boiler, indirect and Riello 5m all say "Circle Combustion".

Does anyone know who made/ makes this???

    Those were,

A re-badged boiler and water heater. In our area, they were installed by GlenMor fuel company. They are now owned by Petro.

Most of the boilers I saw were Italian in design and made by Calortechnica. The water heaters were painted beige but made by Amtrol. Hope this helps. If not, might I suggest contacting Firedragon Ent.. George had a hand in their training dept. at around that time, I believe. If your looking for the flange gasket that connects the metric to American thread, try Bell Pump. They used to use the same flange on Pensotti boilers back in the day. Good luck. Chris

The indirect sure does look like an Amtrol!. Thanks alot.

Bell Pump doesn't carry Pensotti around here. I will check with Steve Cole from PNA. I am looking for the gasket that seals the front panel.

I also need a new aquastat well. This one is situated on top of the boiler, near the back and it appears to be attatched using flanges. Is there anything special about this well????

    Yeah Ken

I think they are a Pensotti too . I got involved in one of these in Falmouth a long time ago. Bell Pump sold Pensotti back then.

Contact the folks at Pensotti North America. PNA in Bangor

    It's a Pensotti and

you'll have to cut the gasket yourself from non-asbestos board. I have North American boiler #1 here in the lair and she's still going strong!

BTW, the indirect is an Amtrol, but no warranty from them or Pensotti or Riello since all warranties were handled by Whaleco/Circle who is now kaputski!

    Ken,

Try over at Oil Tech Talk. Go to the "Just For Teks" section. I think there might be something in there from Mr. Gates old archives. Chris
