Best time EVER
A HUGE thank you to You Scott & TVL Betty Milne
Scott,
!!!,,, JOHN!!! DONT LET THAT CAR IN FRONT OF YOU DAMN"IT!!!^%%#^%^!!!!
Sensory overload is the only explanation I have for not taking the time to corner you on the Woodmans trip and telling you just how much I Really appreciate all that you do. I regret the fact that I never was introduced to your wife Betsy. That, and the fact that Id just like to get to know you bit better than just reading your Wall posts. Without consumption of alchohol on that vening, I was struck with the wisdom of Timmy & Mr.Yates & TVL Lois. I enjoyed evry minute.
You have no idea how stressful getting to this bus trip was for me. The trip from the Convention Center carrying 7 people (my guests +Bean) in a PU truck, stuck in traffic, took about an hour!! Robert Bean got in at the valet with us after his presentation hoping to make it on time and all I could think the whole time was; they wouldnt possibly leave without The Bean! There I was crammed in the front seat with this THING. This (framed thing) its Gill Carlsons original system sizer. MY GOD I thought; History in my hands.OH SH+#!!! I said to myself. A song came to me; You & me against the world. I became as aggressive as a Bostonian driver can be. John Rhunke @ the wheel drove that shiny red truck so poorly & slowly through heavy traffic we could have walked in 1/2 the time. I screamed at him not to let ANYONE in front of us. John shouldnt EVER be let into Boston traffic again. His driving? Way too passive. Boston drivers show NO MERCY for an out of state plate. So glad you figured in the fudge factor and waited until 6:00pm. I delivered the Bean without a scratch @5:29pm running up the steps of the hotels escalator to catch you the (red hat guy) late but thankfully way before our departure. My Inner dialog kept saying Im holding the Bean as ransom! You guys wouldn't leave without the Bean. Would you? You waited. THANK YOU! Thanks so much! You also had room for everyone of my friends because Hunt couldnt get it done on time. Too bad for him. Sorry we missed him. Timmy was crying as we left;-)
Anyway, Wasnt it an Amazing AWESOME experience? Id like to go back in time and do it all again a couple of more times before I get it right and then I will be able to die knowing that I truly had experienced the best of times. When Dan hugs you, The world stops. What a feeling.
THANK YOU SCOTT & BETTY.
For all you do.

Your Welcome Gary
YA you have it correct, never give any one room to move. Its everyone for himself when it comes to Boston traffic.
It was pretty stresfull setting the whole thing up and hoping it all happened right.
I feel bad that Darin and Mark did'nt make it. Friday afternoon taffic in town is pretty bad. Maybe they got an out of state taxi.
I hope the jokes on the way back did'nt offend anyone ?
After a few beers the jokes get dirtyer.

Dirtier?
The smell of clams and lobstah permeated the bus. Our noses were so stuffed up, we couldn't hear a thing (:-o)
Yes. Thank you Scott and Betty. Class acts are hard to find in Beantown. Want validation? Take a look at a Sox player. They looked and played like cretan mis-fit escapees from a Betty Ford half-way house.
Played like it as well(:-o)

I'm disapointed
I wasn't able to make it.The first time since we started having them.
My wife was caught out in Boston traffic(out shopping again),That is not a nice city to get around in!,She didn't get to the convention center to meet me until almost 5:30 and we didn't think we had a prayer to get to the bus on time.
Sounds like you guys had a great time.See you all at Wetstock next month!0 -
JOHN
I forgot all about you !!
Sorry you missed it. We waited untill about 6:00 untill we left. I know friday traffic was a ****.
We'll see you in Providence, I should be sober by then

Traffic
Scott,
I could not believe the traffic in Boston! We left the convention center at 5:00 and did not get to the Marriot until 6:30!
No wonder it costs 10 bucks for a couple of eggs, it must take them weeks to get more!
Better luck next time.
