Anyone fill this type of oil tank before

hi i need a lock on my oiltank fill line
has anyone filled a tank with this cap
if so how high should it be up the wall.
i was going to make it 5 inches up the wall
will this be ok? and my vent 8 inches up
also dose anyone know of a better lock for the speedfill
type fill caps

your looking for above the ground distance rather than up the wall, correct? (Top of fill pipe) Check the code in your area.(should be around 3' above ground)
Did you post pictures of your finished tank pipe set up?
Did I miss them?

Scully
Scully has a locking cap that uses a magnetic "key" to unlock it. At least with that you would have a solid connection to the hose while still keeping the kids from dropping rocks or the ends of garden hoses down them. If anyone really wants to get into the tank, they can simply unscrew the entire cap.0 -
hi the scully one is that the speedfill kind
if so that would be good. and also if you could you would you know the product code for it so i can have my supply house look it up
