to all that stopped by my seminar, especially to John Abularrage for the computer help!

Great seeing old friends and meeting new.

Here are a few interesting new products.

Plenty of devices on the market to eliminate combined DHW radiant systems.

AO Smith offers a tank with a HX pasted on the side. Flat Plate has a HX package, and Taco will have this system with a HX o- ringed onto the back for seperation od DHW and radiant. Glad to see the manufactures are listening and developing easy to install options. Thanks

    Great

    Seminar,HR!

As soon as you were finished I had to check out the tool guys on the show floor and find myself a tubing bender!

I don't know how you find the time to come up with the unique creations that you build, but I'm glad you do.

  • Hey it was real nice meeting both of you guys after seeing your names on the boards for so long. keep up the good work!!!

    It was

Nice putting a face with the name,Rob. Wish there was more time to sit and talk over a refreshment.

Thats one of the things I missed at ISH over the old RPA-REX.It seems like once the seminar is over everone disapears into the crowds.

  • Yeah, it was hard that way. there were a lot of people I was hoping to meet as well that I never saw and I'm sure they were around, but it's hard to read that many nametags!

You mentiond that the Raven Isolation flanges looked good. I agree. I just can't find them on the shelves.

Got a photo of the Raven?

    X pump

The X-pump, is a great tool for heating with domestic hot water, and should be a standard when designing this type of system.

    Boots galore

    Mine were made by www.rocketbuster.com

They will build anything you can draw. These matched our trucks at my former company. They have built some wild boots for folks as you can see at their website.

Used to be able to select the type of hide. Mine are made from scrap Entran 2 pieces :)

    Raven components

had some neat stuff. I like the 1/8" M x FM ball valve for air vent isolation. It had a really deep FIP side so it didn't get into the tab that some air vents have sticking out.

Also a 1/2" M x FM iso valve for expansion tanks.

I think www.earthlee.com has a nicer steel manifold, however.

Rumor I heard from another booth is there may be a patent infringment on some of the products they displayed. We'll see :)

A really nice copper sweat flange was displayed at that Intermountain display. Basically a piece of copper pipe wityh a big wide flange spun on one end. Then a loose flange over it. similar to the B&G iso flange in that detail. Looks a lot more versitile than the cast brass sweat flanges. A smart pump company should pick up on that product! :)

    How about those indirect tees

Raven showed. FIP on one end and a variety of sweat sizes on the branch and other run end. Now that's a clever fitting!
