I can't ID this boiler

Hopefully someone here can help me out with this. I have a very old house, with a gas fired boiler that looks pretty ancient itself.

The label plate names it a "General Electric Gas Fired Boiler", model number plate reads "21LM 30L". Although I'm familiar with large scale steam systems, I know nothing about this unit. Can anyone out there point me to an operator's manual, or an approximate age on this thing?

    Tim Mc, take note!

That monster is over 50 years old and it was built like a tank, FACT! At this point that's the good news, bad is that it's highly ineffficent and wasting fuel up the wazoo!

Start with a full tune-up by a guy who will do both a pre-test and post-test and compare/measure the results. Then, I would flush that thing out since there's probably a pile of mud in the bottom and hope for the best. If all that doesn't do it, junk it!

I have manuals for GE oil, no gas stuff, how about you Timmie???
