How about an expansion tank on each return to \"pump away\"??

Hi All,
I posted earlier about a problem I was having with disolved air noises in my 3 loop hydronic heating system. I concluded that the problem is that my circulating pumps are mounted on the returns. In the book "pumping away" there is a brief discussion of mounting an expansion tank on the return line before the pump to solve the air problems with this system. It mentions that with multiple loops this presents a problem, but I was wondering what would happen if I mounted a small tank, such as the Watts ET-15 on EACH of my three returns, just before the pumps. Wouldn't that solve the "pumping away" problem and be an easier and cheaper solution that retrofitting the entire system to pump on the supply side?
I ask this because the initial estimate for retrofitting was $1000-$2000 and I can order three tanks and tee them into my returns for about $150.
Any thoughts?
I have attached a photo of my returns and you can see it would be easy to tee into each of these lines in the vertical runs just above the pumps.

for that kind...
of money I'd do a spirovent instead of the airscoop and keep the pumps on the return no it's not prfect but in would look a whole lot better and be simpler. kpc

Why not pipe the boiler with everything on the supplies and leave tappings for a future indirect water heater to replace your direct fired water heater.

point of no pressure change in the system. If there are more than one the problems will get worse. Have you had a chance to read Pumping Away?Retired and loving it.0
