What happens when you say you haven't had a flat tire in a while? Bingo.....Flat tire! Same thing when Pedro opened his big mouth. Once the arrogant words were spoken he should have been sent on his way without bus fair. He was right, the word knows he is there now. All the Sox players from 1918 until now couldn't pull it off and this clown thinks he can, and makes a statement that will haunt him forever before the first game is even played.
PEDRO.......The BAMBINO is your DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
perrenial losers
if the bambino sired a chump loser like pedro he would have been arrested.0 -
At least the Sox got to the playoffs
unlike the truly pathetic Orioles, the Sox played well enough to get steamrolled by The Best Baseball Team Money Can Buy on their way to yet another world championship. That in itself, is an accomplishment.
And people wonder why I refuse to go to Camden Yards......

from a Sox fan...
A sweep might be the most merciful way to end it, but if we win tonight we can hope against hope (like only Sox Nation can) that we have a chance.
It all came apart (shouldn't of have) following Shilling's ankle game one. Lieber was very good game two as well(unfortunately for us) and listening to the crowd chanting "Who's Your Daddy?" was a hoot too (and FAR better than the vulgar tee shirts sold here after games and the chant to match) -- you'd think Pedro'd learn to think before he spoke.
Had Shilling been okay game one I think it would have been a lot differant right now, but who knows what the final outcome would have been. Of course if "if's and buts" were wishes and nuts, it would be Christmas today!
I'll be routing for the NT team anyway -- Cards deserve it, but I'd like to see Houston and Rocket there instead.
May the best team win and "...see you in hell Yankee" (grin!)
I did like the bottom of the bostondirtdogs.com gravestone though: "They're all Angels now"0 -
Sox fan here also
The odds are probably better at winning the lottery but I'll be sitting here like every other Sox fool watching
in pain.

no sweep
if you want to see a real sweep, watch the patriots continue to sweep the N.F.L. This week it will be 21 in a row against the Jets. Bob
