    .

there are 4 reasons the Powerflame or any brand spring operated Bimba valve fail or stick in high fire #1 is the o-ring in the valvebody & spring are stuck #2 the air damper linkage is siezed #3 the solenoid that sends oil pressure to the valve is not opening #4 the return is plugged or solenoid that sends pressure to the valve is leaking/////////what problems are you actually having ?

    sticking open

oil2-4-6-gas,I'm thinking o-ring because this powerflame set up only uses oil pressure to drive bimba to high fire.Linkage is moving freely(falls on it's own).Don't think return pressure is problem, I can disconnect line to this cylinder when it sticks up and it stays up, If I give it a twist on the rod, it falls back. It's just that I only service less than a dozen of these burners and this would be the fourth burner that I've had trouble of this type with.I thought Bimba was a brand name? Any better quality than the ones powerflame is using?

    Flame Safeguard Alarm

Power Flame Mod# CR1-GO-12  won't fire.  Flame Safeguard Alarm come on right after the 1min 30sec Purge cycle.  It seem like I checked everything, but I obviously must be missing something.  Any thoughts or ideas are welcome.

is it indeed not lighting or lighting and not sensing

if its not lighting, check the firebox for fuel if its wet you are missing ignition, if its dry you are missing fuel. I have had some problems with the flame scanner lens and tube assembly before...

    It's not lighting at all...

I did some further troubleshooting and the primary fuel solenoid isn't getting energized, but the coil checked out.  The only thing I can think of now is that it's the board.  As it finished purging and tried to fire I put my meter on the Terminals that send voltage to the solenoid to give it fuel and my meter showed OL when it should have either given me 120v or 0.

    to varify your diagnosis

I would jump out the solenoid when the primary control should be sending voltage to it, if it lights and acts as it should, you know what the problem is...
