I have been trying to figure out a 1 room/1 zone radiant plan. I have spoken with and gotten quotes from about 10 different people, and have been told everything from "it won't work at all" to "it's no problem at all". I don't know who is right or wrong. Could anyone please recommend an expert who I can rest assured can design this system for me correctly. Or atleast steer me in the right direction. Thanks for any help.

Best thing you can do Andy is figure out how the different quotes were generated, probe for the company's methods at arriving at their answers, and go with a company that is paying attention to your particular situation and can back up their recommendations with something better than "that's the way everyone does it".
Best of luck to you.

When you narrow it down...
Find out what product they use, and call the tech service department of the manufacturer, and discuss the methods suggested with them.
We like it when it goes in so that it works, the first time and every time.

What in particular,
What exactly are the people who say it won't work refering to? What part of the project has them buggered up?
What are the specifics of your project? How big? What type of radiant, above floor, below, plates, suspended tube, boiler type, mixing or variable speed injection?
Give us something to go on.0
