Does anyone know if there is any substantiated savings for two stage fire on steam systems in the 350-550 mbh input size. Are there any other upsides or downsides?

There's alway a savings in multiple
firing rates, but at what pressures are we talking? If there's not enough pressure to do the job, step-firing can be tricky. In process apps at 75 psi and more savings can go to 20%.0 -
