Can anyone tell me anything about this boiler, who made them? how efficent these were? Also looking to replace this unit any suggestions? I have hot water baseboard rad.
This boiler was installed 1956 when the house was built app. 890 sq ft upstairs plus 890 in the basement. Also looking for a good installer in lincoln, ne.

that boiler was originally made in Peoria,Ill.and was a copper tube design.Moved around and eventually went out of business in the mid-eighties.miserable to clean.Havent heard of parts availability for a long time.

Not only was the boiler made in Peoria, Il. but they made both steel and copper boilers. My father was a dealer for both in Chicago. If it is a gas design boiler, and well maintained, it still has a few good years left. If it was oil, it was a steel boiler and most were overfired from the factory to start and burned up the baffles inside and became most inefficient. The company is no longer in business.0
