Why is it the contractor is stuck with warrenty issues from manufacturers ,If the people who made the product in the first place , who used designers ande engineers , wont back up product , why should it be our name the installer who always get the bad rap , Like the fellow who replaced a tank after 9 years under warrenty then told after that there was no warrenty , Its fair for the customer to get what is expected under the warrenty , but whos warrenty is it? the installers or the manufactureers ?
I know we are the front line people but we are usally smaller companys and can ill aford to accept these losses , we need the guys who make the product to stand up with us at all times not make it difficult for us , after all were supose to be in a buisness relationship , and work together
And fortunatly some of them are doing so , we just need to educate the rest of them and soon
