Is there anything wrong with using a M/M 47-2 on a Weil/McClain GO3? It looks unconventional but couldn't think of a reason why it wouldn't work. Customer said plumber put it(the 47-2) on old boiler (for $800.00) six months before he sold him a new boiler so the 47-2 made the transition to the new unit. It really looks strange on this boiler. Anything I should be concerned about? Thanks up front.

Sure you can
It'll keep the water level a little higher than a MM 67 with auto feeder , but that shouldn't be a problem with a Weil Gold . I bet it looks humongous on that small boiler .0 -

No problem using it. However, be sure you leave enough room for disassembly and service of that 47-2. It has to be taken apart and cleaned every year. Also the strainer has to come out each year.
Be sure that the homeowner knows the proper way to blow down the LWCO, per the mfg instructions. They are available on the MM site, in PDF format.

Now thats one heck of a low water cutoff-feeder to have on that little boiler! Ron is right, there is NO problem using one at all. Yeah this must look HUGE on that Weil!!! Good luck and theres a control you can definately trust!!!!!
