your working with a 20 degree delta T about 55 mbh.

By the way, 3/4" is good for 40,000 btu's, 4 gpm @ 20° ∆T0 -

gave was for 5.5 gpm and the question was about maximum capacity.
I'd be more comfortable designing for 4gpm at 40 mbh.
My data was from Weil Mclean and the chart has never failed me!

That's interesting, Robert,
Your Weil Mclain sheet says 5.5 max, and the B&G says max 4.0, and I believe Dan's books show 4.0/40,000 btu's also. I'm curious how W.M. came up with 5.5.0 -
