Buderus Panel Radiator

can you put a leather couch in front of the buderus radiator i like the sleek look of them and i like the fact that i dont need long baseboards but my couch is in front of a window where the radiator will go i was hopeing i can have the radiator behind the couch out of the way

It will stifle

the output somewhat. The Buderus panel radiator puts out both radiant heat and natural convection heat. The radiant heat will be blocked by the couch. The natural convection part will still generate some heat. Maybe if you over size it it will be OK. WW

Bad application in most cases.

The couch will limit the ability of the air to convect in most cases. Also you will lose the radiant into the back of the couch.
