This ain't no tekmar control...

Nothing against tekmar. I think they're a fine control. I use them on a daily basis.

This control is headed for Grand Juntion Colorado Monday. It will be controlling 3 Vitodens, and the two 3 mill 2 stage Rite boilers, and the Honeywell VFD for their 5 horse circulator.

It will stage, rotate, optimum start and stop.

Now, if only it had a modem, I could talk to it from Denver!

Ya listenin' Uncle V?

Enjoy!

    Only

8K for this one. I spec'd Viessmann due to their reliability. It's 6 hours one way from here to there, so I hope they don't let me down.

Tekmar now has those same capabilities. I don't remember exact model numbers but they now have 4-20ma inputs and outputs to drive both the boilers set point for modulating boilers and or a freq. drive for a pump. How do you like those apples!

Looks Great, but have a question...

Let me start off by stating for the record that this is a beautiful creation. The iso-mounts inside are a great way to slide and mount stuff to perfection.

Furthermore, I hope that the folks at Viessmann get around to offering Data-export modules, I think there could be a marketing opportunity here (think remote diagnostics where the machine tells the installer/maintenance guy what the problem is so he/she has the right parts on the truck before coming to the site). Granted, lotsa folks can read trouble-codes, but it's even better when the machine can do it for you.

What I couldn't help but notice was the contrast to the wiring at the back of the picture, to the left under the stairs. Is this a case of the cobblers' kids? Or is the high-voltage stuff a bit too frightful? ;-)

    Takagi has

unit that will control up to 20 x 235mbtu TM-1 Mobius's in parallel.

But this is just in a demand hot water situation. Not as fancy as the "V-job".

So if you ever need between 0.75gpm & (possible) 192gpm, of hot water, Takagi can do it. Textile co's in Turkey are doing it, and even improving on it by reclaiming the waste process heat using GFX falling-film heat exchangers.

$8,000 seems high, are they built one at a time, by hand, in the Rolls or Bentley or Aston Martin factories?

It does look purty though :)

    This aint heating

but it's a heck of a water heater heat-source controller.

Up to 20 x 235mbtu tankless units from one controller.

    0.75 gpm to 192 gpm.

I have a feeling it could be used for heating.

One having a close relationship with those that made this panel, I have to ask why the PC boards inside of the panel seem to have been moved from their lovingly installed position.

Was there a problem that these boards needed to be moved?

They do make modem connections. I'm surprised you didn't put one in??

    That, kind sir...

is exactly as I received them. Henceforth the reason for my photographs. Your crating was very strong, however, NOT shock proof. The boards were dislodged from their mounting posts, and the bus cables had come undone. I re-installed the PC boards and reconnected the cables. I hope all goes well, because this job is 6 hours away from home...

If I may, I would suggest that for the price you're company charges, your company should consult a packaging engineer to insure product reliability upon receipt in the field.

Truck drivers and delivery people could care less whats in the box, much less whats written on the box.

There may be one there Paul...

but I haven't had a chance to read up on it yet. That comes Monday night. If it doesn't have one, it may get one.

    Thanks for your observation.
