Here in a nutshell is what I am trying to accomplish:

Unattached 400 sq ft workshop with two 250' loops of 1/2" Pex. 56' of 3/4" Pex from the workshop to the house (112' round trip with an approximate 8' rise in elevation to the shop) where the Dunkirk XEB-4 resides. I would like to use a indirect WH running off the XEB-4 to heat the workshop, heat loss calc using Slant/Fin's Hydronic Explorer indicates: house - 53,556 and workshop - 18,818 for a total heat loss of 72,374 BTU, the XEB-4 has a net I=B=R rating of 82,000 BTU. The temp is currently set at 145 degrees and currently has no trouble keeping the house to temp.

Question: what size pump should I use to circulate the workshop/indirect WH (Mega-Stor MS-26)loop?

Or am I totally off-base here?

Kindest Regards,
PeteH
