Burnham 4N209 Boiler

may not be the fault of the boiler itself, but in the way it was installed. Consider having someone else look at the job. Try the Find a Professional page of this site to locate one near you. If you're in the Baltimore area, e-mail me.
If it really is a problem with the boiler, I know Burnham (whichever sister company is involved) will take care of you.

Poor boiler performance
I am a member of a volunteer fire department. We bought a new Burnham 4N209 coal boiler in the late fall of 1999 for our building. Our building is about 10,000 square feet. This boiler was installed as a replacement for our old boiler. The local Burnham sales company came and they said this was the model we needed. They installed it and our building has not been warm since. We paid them to replace all our steam traps. Still insufficient heat. They came and poured cement in the firebox. They said the firebox was too big. We have spent several thousand dollars with this company, trying to get our entire building heated. Now they will not even return our phone calls. Who would be the best person to contact at Burnham to try to get some help getting heat?0 -
Burnham Commercial Products
Although I am Manager of Training for Burnham Hydronics, I don't neccessarily serve as a representative the products that are made by one of our many sister companies, Burnham Commercial Steel. I can refer you to the Burnham Commercial website though and from there you can find the area sales representative for you state or country. Goe to the link below and click on sales Reps or Contact Us and your contact should be there. You can also call the phone number listed on the site. Hope this helps.
