Auction to meet George Wendt/attend A.O. Smith reception

I have an invitation from A.O. Smith to attend their reception (during ISH-NA) at the Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel on Wednesday, Oct. 8th from 6-8 p.m. Since I won't be getting in until 8:45, I can't attend. George Wendt (from "Cheers") will be there to sign authographs, take pics and there will be plenty of food and drink. I had a thought: how about auctioning the invitation off (unlimited number of guests) and raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation?
The RSVP must be sent by 10/1. I can mail it from my location with your name and send you the confirmation. Therefore, the auction should end at noon on 9/29. Fair enough?
