Am sure some of you out there know the secrets of how to bend this stuff where you want to. I am sure its different depending on what size, but are any good quick rules to follow?
thanks, Steve

Bend
Steve, I am not familiar with the multicore but I have used a lot of different brands. Take a piece of tube and measure say 18" from the end and make a mark. Put it in the bender with the end you measured from to your left. Put your mark at some refrence point on the bender, most benders have a mark if not make your own and stick with it. Make a 90* bend and measure from the left end to the center of the stub the difference between that and 18" is your takeoff for a90. Always put the tube in the bender with the end you measured from to your left. Once you have that down you can repeat the procedure only put the end to your right.
If you get involved where you have to cut the tube to length before you make your bends multiply the radius of the bender times the number of degrees in the bend times .01745, that will tell you how much tube is used in the bend. bob0
