What are the negatives for using a miniduct for heating and cooling? Is Unipac or spacepak better? Thanks

We've been doing them for a decade. No negatives at all as long as you have the right installer who doesn't cut corners.

They work very well, take up less space, lower labor for installation. But on the air conditioning side, less output by tonage, lower seer, cost more to operate than a conventional system. They do remove more humidity, and are a more comfortable air conditioning, if installed correctly.0
