Vitodens piped backwards

After much shop preperation, painting & delivery, the Owner changed his mind about boiler (vent) location once he saw the HUGE Vitodens sidewall screen. (I must say that I hate it too.) SO BIG AND UGLY!!!

My distribution board was piped for left side delivery. As you can see, the boiler now hangs on the right of the board. Should I pipe around or start from scratch?

What would you Wallies do?

    RUN

boiler supply and return down and around to the low loss header, i am sure you can make it look good, marc.
  • I agree

The job looks great as it is . It'd be a shame to start from scratch . Going below the piping won't look too bad . Maybe paint them white to stealth into the background ?
  • Thanks Mark & Ron

I want this to come out nice as allways. I'll just go around (the long way) & insulate rather than start from scratch although I seriously thought about shelving this entire board for another job and building a brand new one for this.

Steep stairway so, I think I'll use the wall mount base w/boiler temperature indication unit and move the Comfortrol upstairs again. PITA to program/commission that way but, I think I'll leave it unwired till coding is complete downstairs then wire it & move upstairs. Been there-Done that.

    Any thoughts?

    Nice work

See you next week Gary at the ISH show and for the lobsta dinner. I might even be persuaded to get you a libation if you are of a mind to do so.
