    The difference

The LT is to park under an oil fired and the L series is for under the gas fired.Other than that they are both 42 gallon and one of the top tanks that money can buy.

    L and LT Tanks

What Mike stated is true. The LT Tank comes with a bracket to mount the G115 Boiler to it (a bracket kit has to be ordered to mount a G215 boiler).
The L series tank is provide with two studs which line up with the gas boiler bottom bracket.

    electric vs oil

My best info says electric would have to be about 4 cents per kilo to equal oil. hope this helps. maybe someone else has more current info
