a cool demo of the Visonpro thermostat. Nice programming logic, touch screen. But is is only installed by a contractor. But their site can't find a contractor within 100 miles that installs it. (why it takes a contractor remains a mystery)
So on their site after it tells you that "sorry, you live in the sticks", it suggests that you click on YourHome Feedback. There you enter what you want to buy (thermoststs) and in the next screen you select a model. You guessed it, the VisionPro is not listed. Not only that but the choices for action are: Wiring Assistance, Programming Assistance,
Troubleshooting,
Need Thermostat Recomendation,
Need Documentation,
Online Registration.

What happened to where the heck can I get one???
And why do I need a contractor to wire a thermostat to a 24 volt relay?
Anyway I gave up and am going to our hardware store tomorrow for something I can get my hands on and install. Even a round one will do if it does not take an engineer, field service manager, technician and gofer to install it.
