Expansion Tank question

in THE MAIN WALL
We are remodeling our 1920's house and are taking out the upstairs radiators. We are leaving the ones on the main floor. The question is since our expansion tank is up in the attic how should we deal with this? Should we cap the pipes as they go up to the upstairs and add a bladder down by the boiler itself? What is the best way to deal with this?
