The project that would never end. That's what this one was. The owner was the GC and I must say, for a project this size, everything went quite well. In all, we used 18,000' of Wirsbo 1/2" & 5/8" he PEX. And another 800' of 3/4" hePEX for all of the S&R piping to the various manifolds. The Vitola was running at 91% AFUE when we left. Have ever I told you how much I love this boiler?
Here are a few pics of the project.

As always....
Superior work! I'm also a fan of the VB2. Gotta love the chassis burner if you're a flamehead.

gorgeous
HB! the thing I find interesting is to see the tubing exposed, but the drywall installed and painted, and the rock work done. Is this typical in your area, or was this a one-off?
We are wont to get the tubing and lightweight in, way before the drywall arrives.

18,000 feet
of pex for the radiant ? Did Wirsbo run the factory for a week for this one job ?
Once again , the diamond plates sets everything off . I've never seen or heard a Viesmann oil boiler up close . Is it quieter than conventional equipment ? Easy to diagnose and service ? I'm running out of adjectives to call your work , Heatboy .0 -
Pex
Never seen pex laid so straight, outstanding. P.S, how much more does the diamond plate run you ?.0 -
well....
I'm impressed. Very nice work.

Gypcrete pour?
What brand and type do you use? Tried any of the new high psi stuff?
Nice use of a floor mount expansion tank also. I'd like to see it wrapped in diamond plate too
Nice work!

can you say \"Wet Dream...\"
Sorry man couldn't help myself - outstanding - this is the stuff I've been talking about - this is where the industry needs to go - could you imagine if every job in N.A. looked like this...never mind locking up our daughters...
Jeff, what would it take to get you to email whatever pics you have and you bet I'll find a way to get them into upcoming seminars...
Cream rising to the top...again.

Panels??
Nice (understatement) job Jeff. As usual the high jump bar is set at about 8ft.
How are those panels integrated in the the Vitotronic. What functions do the panel have responsibilty for and what does the Vitotronic keep track of other than managing the burner and DHW.0 -
I'm speachless
WOW! nice

Fantastic work!
Congratulations, Jeff & company! What a beautiful job. That is one lucky & comfortable homeowner, who won't be paying megabills for heating his magnificent home. Put pix of this one in your photo album to show other prospective clients. Great work...true craftsmanship LIVES!!!0 -
NICE JOB!!

Having you guys........
compliment our work is humbling, considering the high quality work I see from all of you. Thank you! While I could walk away from all of this given the right opportunity, I am grateful for eveything I have learned from my friends at "The Wall". I feel the "best of the best" frequent this place. What did we do before Dan Holohan? Any time I can be of help to anyone, don't hesitate to ask.
Here is a sneak preview of our current panel being fabbed in the shop. Yes, it's actually a non-Viessmann project (g). This will use a Crown CT-4 sitting on top of a horizontal Mega-Stor. Very cool. There was an error rendering this rich post.
