I use the green plastic sprinkler boxes available at any irrigation/sprinkler supply house. They are available in mutiple sizes. The biggest ones that I have used for snowmelt manifolds are 30" x 48" -DF

SnowMelt manifolds

We make a stainless manifold set enclosed in aluminum or stainless enclosure that is specifically meant to bury in slabs.

I have attached some photos of a set using 1-1/2" tube in a galvanized enclosure. For snowmelt we usually use 2" tube.
