I retofitting an old heating system that consists of castiron raditors. I will be adding a a radiant floor heating zone in the bathroom and kitchen. I will be also useing thermostsic raditor valves on the exesting raditors that I will pipe with pex tubing to a manifold. Have't chosen a boiler yet but more then likely a budarus oil fired with a 40 gallon indirect fired amtrol for the domestic hot water. I was going to use a pirmary loop with the other 3 zones as secondarys. I am just not sure how to control the whole system. I want to use some sort of outdoor reset but also want to make sure the boiler is protected from a low return temp. I have looked at a few of the tekmar controls but not to sure of the best one for my situation any help would be greatly apperacied
Thanks

I'm not a Buderus rep, but why not go with the Buderus Logomatic R2107 with FM241 card. Here is the PDF on it. http://www.buderus.net/literature/R2107-CB-01.PDF

As the above post stated, the R2107 Logamatic Control is what we would suggest. The 2107 is an outdoor reset control and has features that will protect the boiler. The condensate protection as well as minimum burner firing temperature helps insure for long service life of the equipment. The Logamatic mounts directly on the boiler and is designed for the boiler. Please feel free to give us a call if there are further questions. 1-800-283-3787.
Just a note - a Tekmar Control can be used for the application. Please consult with Tekmar for assistance if their control is being used.0 -

Make sure you use a mixing card with the R2107 control for the radiant loop. Also I would suggest a Buderus tank for hot water so you have a nice match.0
