Why Munchkin

Member Posts: 10
I am looking for feedback from those of you who have installed any HTP Munchkin Condensing Boilers.
Why do you use the Munchkin?
I am going to discuss the Munchkin with the other salesman that work for my company, Thos. Somerville Co. (Wholesalers) located in the Mid-Atlantic.
I am looking for feedback from the contractors that have used them.
Any comments will be appreciated.
THANKS in advance.

Here's why
They have great factory support and answer any problems quickly right here for us all to read.
They are made in N. America. Importation/transportation costs are non-contributing to the end cost.
They are very well made with few problems and are relatively inexpensive.
Few parts are proprietary and replacement "anythings" are available without delay.
They are easy to install.
They have perahps the most liberal, approved methods of venting imaginable.
Other than that - there nuttin' special (:-o)

other advantages
They are high-tech at a relatively low price---they condense, modulate, do reset internally, display operating parameters, connect to laptops...
They need only one pipe (for exhaust); you can just let it draw intake air through the large gaps between the plastic cabinet and the plastic cover.
[OK, that last one was a joke. Although close to the truth.]0 -
