drain and fill air cushion tank hydronic system

Question, When draining and filling a hydronic system, 4 zone, (circulators mounted in return piping), also air cushion expansion tank in this system, what is the correct way to do this ie: propper venting, establishing propper expantion tank level, all zones purged, propper tridicator reading, any help would be greatly appreciated.
