Radiant manifolds

I am a DIY at the start of doing a radiant heating system looking for some feedback regarding manifolds Wisbro vs Rehau.Heat loss analysis has been done by both companies, I just want to know if there are any pros and cons from one to the other. Thanks for any help!

  • they both work

    and work well.

However, rehau's has flow meters you don't need a $400 electronic tool to read. That's a big plus in my book, if you need visible flow metering, and not every job does. If you're going to have different sized loops the flow meters are especially good to have.

    Manifolds & tubing

    Hi Rob
Thank you for your reply.I had to install tubing this weekend for basement as they want to pour cement Tues.A.M.
The only tubing I could get on short notice was Wisbro.
My question is? can I install a Rehau manifold using Wisbro tubing. Thank you
  • yes you can

wirsbo compression fittings and rehau compression fittings both work with each other's tube. so use rehau manifolds and fittings with the wirsbo tube if you like and it'll work fine.

    My preference

is for fully soldered or brazed manifolds with the Wirsbo Propress rings or Rehau's equivalent. No rubber gaskets, to leak no comperssin fittings to come lose.
