Greetings Guys,
Looking for suggestions on a lower cost(vs. eccoflex) for insulating snowmelt supply & return lines. What innovative ways and means have you found to do this?
Thanks Ken

Donkey Penis
You know what I mean... We just grab a box or two and walk each peice down the line. One guy feeding and three guys walking and you can insulate in a hurry. It's not as good as the commercial stuff, but it's a heck of a lot better than no insulation at all...Tape the joints with mil tape for integritiy.
A tip, if you will put a soldered cap over the end of the pipe you are insulating, the insulation JUMPS onto the pipe with a minimum of exertion. Otherwise, it snags, drags, rips and tears.
Also, use the stuff that comes with the talcum powder on it. It goes like glass....
