Erie VL500 control

Posted a few days ago about having trouble job trying to get wired up. Have 5 Erie VL500 zone valve controls, 3 out of 5 were bad won't move zone valve. When checked out with meter find 24 volts on wrong terminals. Got 3 replacements yesterday and these are same thing when hooked up. Anybody else having trouble with these? I have used a lot of Erie products before and have been very pleased but never used this particular control. ANYBODY FROM ERIE OUT THERE WATCHING THAT MAY PROVIDE SOME INSIGHT?
