But that's why I take a pic before the pour! That way if there is ever an issue I can show it..Just a thought but how about pouring some hot water down it and follow it with a laser temp guage?

slab kink
Does anyone have experience with finding out too late that a line was kinked during a concrete pour?
Luckily its not on my job, but a colleague called looking for help. He sent a fish tape down and knows its at 150 feet in but doesn't have a good enough idea of where the loops went to pinpoint it.0 -
Navitrak
We recently purchased the Ridgid Navitrak locator system and it has the ability to be clipped onto a metal wire, tape, pipe or line to trace below grade. It will precisely pin-point the location and depth, so if he's using a metal fish-tape, that would be relatively easy to follow.

Are you sure
you have a kink? A fish tape may not go around a sharp bend, say 6" on center. And the more bends it does go around the tougher the push, especially with those flat wire fish tapes.

DYNATEL
You need a very stiff steel wire with a tiny ball welded on the end. then rent, borrow or steal a 3m dynatel unit and the rest will be easy. the dynatel will send a tone down the wire and make tracing a breaze. where are you located? anywhere near newyork....mark0 -
why not...
fill the loop and check the flow rate?
