Has anyone here used the Taco mixing block? I have a project coming up and wondered about cost and performance. Thanks, EJW

    Ive installed

But Its not running yet. I like the idea of it and I hope it works well. I used it for 5 zones of mud set 5 loops total with 2 towel warmers.

    I have

I installed one about a month ago. Definitely a time-saver. Works well, enough options of mode to suit any need I can think of. Nice, tidy package to install. If you were to build an injection system it would cost a little less in material $ but more time $.

Hey Tony, how many manifolds does this RMB-1 have on it? I have mine with 2 remote manifolds but I didnt make provisions to purge the lines. Just what ever is on the 2 radiant manifolds. I havent filled the system yet so I do have time to cut something in, but is it nessisary?

    It should

If your manifolds are able to be purged, the lines feeding them should purge at the same time. You could put isolation valves between the RMB and the manifolds with a purge valve in line and that would definitly take care of it.

My install has 2 radiant panels attached to it controlled by V8043 zone valves.

Ive got the 2 manifolds piped reverse return with power heads on each loop, no zone valves.

    I would

Call your supplier and ask. Prices aren't generally discussed here. Too many eyes.
