Time Delay Relay

I am looking to put a time delay relay to operate the boiler pump on a pair of Burnham 8 series boilers piped primary-secondary. The DHW is also primary-secondary off of the main loop. The present boiler control is a tekmar 262. The boilers have a flow check on each of them which dosen't allow any post purge of heat from the boiler after each stage contact opens.
My other alternative is to replace the tekmar 262 with the new version 264 which has DHW added.

The 264 also has the ability to operate the boiler pumps individually so it will shut down the boiler gas train first and leave the pump on to purge some temperature out of each boiler at shutdown. Great technology.

I've Done exaactly that

On my 8 series boilers. There is alot of heat soak when the burner and pump shut off together on cast iron boilers.....Enough to trip the manual reset high limit as the boiler rises 40F or more after being shut off. Honeywell's ST82D1004 Fan manager will do the trick...80- sec delay on break for the pump. I also wire the 262 to run the fixed lead boilers pump.

Taco SR506-exp, and PC702 boiler staging control

The SR506-EXP has the optional post purge feature typically used for domestic hot water. The PC 702 is a 2 boiler staging control that simply plugs into the relay panel, cycling the boilers. Please see attached for additional information.
