How many of you guys are using the propress system and how do you like it, any problems or complaints, do you think the fittings will last, have you used Glycol in a propress system?

Just curious thanks for your replies.

    Lovin' it....

used it today to throw some caps on some lines that had valves that wouldn't shut off.... yeah.... like you can sweat that......had another line that was drippin'.... who cares!!!! Just slam the fittings on the pipe and presto!!!!
Look Ma!!!! No leaks, no muss, no fuss....
Glycol... well almost, but not yet.... did a Liebert Drycooler, and I better get glycol in there before too long, it's gonna get cold pretty soon......
Compliants..... wish the darn thing was cheaper... and the 2.5 to 4" dies weren't so darn much money... coulda used a 2.5" die today......and yes the 1.5 and up dies will yank you pipes a bit, but nothing you can't work with.
Oh yeah... watch that darn trigger... you bump it before you got the die on the fitting right and you got a pipe with a hole through it....ask me how I know :-)
The hurrider I go, the behinder I get.....

    Very Happy

I would say We use it alot, but Chris won't let the damn thing out of his truck for the other gys to use.

    Comment heard at Milne P+H yesterday " Don't we have a ProPress ? ".

We had had zero problems but have yet to use it with glycol. We are in the midst of a nice little project ( read: you be seeing photos soon ) and this will have glycol in it.

Had mine for almost a year now and I love it! Just can't figure out how I lived without it. No problems whatsoever.

    All we use

fast and easy...Holds tight even if you forget to crimp.(You can prove I did it) Held for a month under 40 psi....they work better when crimped. The time on installs is cut in half and you don't smell up the house.(hopefully soap anyone Ha Ha) worth looking into.......
