boiler needs help

visited a house today boiler has been neglected its a burnham v33 series with a becket burner supposedly firing 1.00gph needs a cleaning,chamber, oil line,and possibly a gun assembly heres the kicker the homeowners been cleaning the gun assembly with turpentine for a few yrs and has never set the electrodes when i pointed out 2 kinks in oil line restrictig the flow we would not believe me how do i prove my point any suggestions

If you have a digital analyzer do a test on the system for co. I have a feeling by the sound's of it that system would be running really poor. If he see's co he may change his story. As to the oil line, bring in a piece and show him the flow rate then kink it and show him again. Some people need to see the evidence...just some thought's..:)0 -

Get your self an oil watcher vacuum gage then you can see the air in the line and the vacuum might very well be excessive also.0
